All backyard debris burning is prohibited.

A burn permit can be obtained by clicking "Obtain a Burn Permit" or visiting the Clatskanie Station during regular business hours.

Stay informed! Call 503-728-2131 before you burn.
Recreational fires are defined as campfires, cooking fires, and warming fires no larger than
3 feet in diameter and no greater than 2 feet in height from the deepest point.
If the recreational fire is outside a designated campsite, and the Fire Danger Level is High or Extreme, please call 503-728-2131 or 503-728-2025 for more information.

Northwest Oregon Fire Protective Association has issued public use restrictions in relation to fire danger.

Burn Permits are valid until the end of the burn season of issuance.

As specified by CRFPD, burning permits are required for all open burning in the Clatskanie Rural Fire Protection District service area, including small recreational fires. Please follow all burning regulations and directions very carefully. Burning permits will NOT be issued to businesses, churches, industries, institutions, building contractors or multi-dwelling sites.
