Thank you for your interest in Clatskanie Rural Fire Protection District career opportunities. CRFPD is an equal opportunity employer and a member of the Clatskanie Fire District and Scappoose Fire District Civil Service Commission. Our entry level fire service position is Firefighter/Paramedic.

Civil Service rules require us to create an eligibility list through competitive examination and hire or promote from the names on that list until the list expires.

Internship

If you are pursuing a career in the fire service, attending school and would like on the job experience. We offer an Internship that assists with schooling, provides living space at a substation, monthly stipend and most of all the experience of a life time.
